Airpelago Becomes an Authorized Drone School 🎓

After years of training our pilots in-house, we’re proud to take the next step: Airpelago is now an Authorized Drone School (ADS) - certified following a full access-control inspection by the Swedish Transport Agency.

This milestone strengthens our long-term ability to supply both the market and our own operations with highly motivated, well-trained pilots. It also means that we can now provide the applicable Specific Category training for our new remote pilots as a naturally integrated part of their onboarding process.

We are officially the fifth Authorized Drone School in Sweden, and have additionally been appointed A2 examiners - with more information on A2 testing to come.

A special thank you to the Swedish Transport Agency, and particularly Abdulah Ramic, for the excellent collaboration throughout the application process.

We’re now looking forward to scheduling our first training sessions at the start of next year, 2026.
