We are thrilled to announce that Airpelago has officially signed its first major framework agreement in Finland!

This partnership with Elenia, one of Finland's leading power grid operators, marks a significant step forward in our mission to modernize infrastructure inspections across the Nordics.

The agreement focuses on large-scale drone-based power grid inspections and high-resolution LiDAR data collection (the latter allowing for precise vegetation encroachment analysis and infrastructure digital twinning).

By leveraging our automated flight workflows and advanced data processing, Elenia will be able to gain unprecedented insights into their network health, ensuring higher reliability for their customers and providing a future-proof foundation for asset management.

Next on our roadmap is the operational kickoff in the Finnish forests. We are looking forward to showing how Airpelago’s technology can handle the unique challenges of the Finnish landscape.
